FLAGSHIP CASE STUDY
Cannes Lions 2026 / Content Strategy, Production, Social Storytelling
Editorial Strategy
Turning a week of conversations, panels, and behind-the-scenes access into a real-time social editorial engine for EightPM, at the world’s most visible creativity festival.
Designed to make the agency’s presence last beyond our week in Cannes.

01
Overview / Challenge / Insight
My assignment was not to document Cannes. It was to translate the energy of our conversations into content that could keep us moving long after the festival ended.
Overview
EightPM needed fast, polished, editorial-first coverage from Cannes Lions while conversations were still unfolding.
Challenge
Move at social speed as a one man army, without making the work feel disposable, rushed, or like standard event recap content.
approach
Recaps documenting panel discussions, executive interviews, and on-site moments from our panels and around the event, edited for social-first distribution that leads with education.
02 / Strategy + Insights
Rather than documenting the event chronologically, my content focused on extracting memorable insights from our conversations with marketing leaders and packaging them into short-form content that extended beyond the conference itself. The goal was to create content that remained valuable, garnered industry credibilty, and filled out content vault after the event ended.
+44%
LinkedIn impressions increased during Cannes by shifting coverage from event recaps to editorial-first thought leadership.
+124%
Combined audience engagement increase after prioritizing executive interviews and industry perspectives over chronological event coverage.
7-Day Coverage
Planned, captured, edited, and published in real time while maintaining a consistent editorial voice.
03 / Value proposition
Cannes Lions × ADWEEK Social Campaign
Crafted this executive thought leadership video from our Cannes Lions × ADWEEK panel, repurposing a live discussion into short-form content designed to educate audiences, reinforce EightPM's industry perspective, and maximize the lifespan of event content.

Reflection: This project reinforced that effective content isn't created by just documenting everything. I began thinking in terms of audience intent and funnel staging, which made every decision of mine more deliberate, from the moments I captured to the way each asset was distributed.
